Pork Meatballs

While most of us are familiar with meatball recipes made with ground beef, meatballs can also be made with ground pork, offering wonderful
flavor and tenderness. Pork has its own fresh flavor and is often called, "the other white meat."

There are plenty of meatball recipes that use a combination of ground beef and ground pork, perhaps because of how well the flavors of both taste when mixed together. This Pork Meatballs page includes both meatball recipes made with 100% pork, and those made with a combination of both ground beef and ground pork.

When making meatballs with 100% pork, you can either purchase pre-ground pork in the deli section of grocery stores; or if you prefer lean meatballs, you can purchase any lean cut of pork and either have the butcher grind it for you, or if you have your own meat grinder or meat grinding attachment, grind it yourself.
